HMHS Britannic Expedition

During the summer of 2015, a group of the world's greatest underwater explorers met in Kea, Greece to explore the wreck of the HMHS Britannic, sister ship to the RMS Titanic, using sophisticated underwater diving equipment, a three-person submersible and a remotely operated vehicle, to try to determine why the "more unsinkable" Britannic sank in one-third the time of the Titanic.

Explorer Consulting, LLC was there to help.

The expedition yielded tangible evidence, but not without substantial risk to the divers and other participants.  The story of the expedition was told in the Summer 2016 edition of Sidetracked magazine, available here.
